At Diverse Culture Care, we focus on your everyday needs and living requirements as well as community access, making sure to give you choice and control every step of the way. Our staff have dedicated their lives to disability care and can offer you valuable advice regarding you plan.
Our support staff become trusted companions and carers you can rely on week after week, year after year. We want you and your family to thrive, so combining in-home care with access to your community is really important to us. We want to make sure you can take advantage of everything life has to offer.
In-Home Supports
In-home supports is all about keeping you happy and healthy in the comfort of your home. Our job at Diverse Culture Care is to make sure you don’t get too overwhelmed by household tasks like cooking, cleaning or laundry. We also boost your mood by helping you to look amazing each day, doing your hair and makeup, getting you dressed and assisting you with personal hygiene, shaving and more. Our staff are also trained to help you with medication reminders and administration. Need help with meals or budgeting? No worries, we can help with that too!
Social & Community Participation
Start connecting with your local community in a way that has a positive effect on your life. We are particularly passionate about social participation and providing easy community access for our participants because we know that meaningful interactions with your peers has such a positive impact on your life. When you choose us as your provider you will immediately see the benefits of participating in community activities. We can transport participants with wheelchairs, so let us provide the support, and all you have to do is prepare to have a great time!
Capacity Building
As much as we love helping you, we also love empowering you to be able to have more control over your life. This is why we offer Capacity Building as one of our services. This is a category funded by the NDIS to help people with disability gain skills and abilities to live more independently. For example, instead of preparing your meals for you, we will help you to prepare your own meals, sharing the necessary skills and knowledge with you and guiding you through the process to ensure your safety. We help build your confidence to take on more tasks on your own so that soon you will be living life on your terms, feeling amazing and liberated!
